MOVEM, FILINVEST GROUP JOIN FORCES TO ADVANCE EV-READY COMMUNITIES

Movem Electric, Inc. (Movem), the wholly owned end-to-end electric mobility solutions provider of Manuel V. Pangilinan-led Manila Electric Company (Meralco), has partnered with Filinvest Malls to support the EV charging experience at Festival Mall in Muntinlupa City, bringing together electric mobility, technology, and sustainable infrastructure in one solution.

Located at the Alabang-Zapote (A-Z) parking area of Festival Mall, the facility combines EV charging infrastructure with a digital advertising platform, creating a more engaging experience for EV users while providing brands and businesses with an additional platform to connect with customers. The initiative reflects Festival Mall’s efforts to integrate sustainable mobility solutions into the mall experience, making EV charging more accessible and convenient for its customers.

The project also marks a strategic collaboration between Movem and Filinvest Malls as both organizations work toward making communities and properties more prepared for the continued growth of EV adoption. Through the EV charging facility at Festival Mall, the partnership demonstrates how retail destinations help shape more EV-ready communities as the adoption of electric mobility continues to grow.

The charging station is supported by ChargeM, Movem’s mobile application that gives EV users a seamless way to access and manage their sessions. Through the platform, users can conveniently access Movem chargers and manage their sessions with ease. This integration brings together sustainability, technology, and everyday convenience, helping make electric mobility more accessible and practical for users.

Beyond Festival Mall, Movem is set to support Filinvest’s broader EV requirements across its portfolio, including commercial, residential, and office developments, helping future-proof its properties and contribute to the country’s growing electric mobility ecosystem.

As EV adoption continues to grow, accessible infrastructure will play an important role in encouraging more drivers to shift toward electric transportation. Through partnerships such as this, Movem and Filinvest are helping create spaces where cleaner mobility can become part of everyday life while supporting the development of smarter and more EV-ready communities.

“At Movem, we believe EV charging should fit naturally into people’s daily routines. Our partnership with Filinvest at Festival Mall brings reliable and convenient charging closer to where people live, work, and spend their time. As a destination where people come together for their everyday activities, Festival Mall provides a natural setting for EV charging to be part of the customer experience. Through the ChargeM app, we complement the physical charging infrastructure with a seamless and userfriendly digital experience, making EV charging easier and more accessible while supporting the continued growth of electric mobility in the Philippines,” said Movem President and CEO Ralph Menchavez.
