Manuel V. Pangilinan-led Manila Electric Company (Meralco) has energized the newly constructed Osorio (Conchu) substation, boosting system capacity and reliability for customers in Cavite.
The project includes a new 83 megavolt amperes (MVA) power transformer bank, three (3) 115-kilovolt (kV) gas circuit breakers, six (6) 115-kV disconnect switches and the construction of 115-kV sub-transmission lines and of a control house with a 34.5-kV indoor modular switchgear.
The Osorio (Conchu) Substation provides additional system capacity and enhances reliability in Trece Martires and General Trias, benefiting commercial and residential customers which include Trece Martires City Hall, City of General Trias Doctors Medical Center Inc., Lyceum of the Philippines University, and Eagle Ridge Gold and Residential Estates.
