Globe Pushes Forward with Restoration, Aid in Tino-Hit Areas

Globe is actively restoring connectivity in areas affected by Typhoon Tino, which brought widespread power and transmission disruptions across parts of Visayas and Mindanao.

As of the latest update, Typhoon Tino has disrupted services in 14 provinces in the Visayas and two in Mindanao. Among the hardest-hit provinces are Cebu, Bohol, and Negros Occidental in the Visayas; Dinagat Islands and Surigao in Mindanao. Restoration efforts are currently underway across affected municipalities.

“We continue to give our Alagang Globe through both swift restoration efforts and on-ground presence,” said Yoly Crisanto, Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer.

To support affected communities, Globe is preparing to roll out Libreng Tawag and Libreng Charging (LTLC) stations in areas where connectivity remains limited. At the same time, Globe is coordinating with key partners to mobilize relief operations in the hardest-hit sites.

Further updates will be shared through GlobeICON social media pages as the situation develops.
