Globe proudly announces that GoGIVE, its groundbreaking digital giving platform for prepaid customers, has won the Silver Award in the Technology Category at the PR Awards Asia-Pacific 2026 by Campaign Asia-Pacific. This recognition underscores Globe’s commitment to building a #GlobeofGood, where connectivity is not just about access, but about empowering communities and inspiring young Filipinos to take part in nation‑building.
GoGIVE was designed to close the gap between caring and action. For Gen Z and Gen Alpha, who care deeply about causes but often lack spare money or time, Globe created a way to give through something they already use every day – mobile data. By simply opting in via the GlobeOne app, prepaid users can choose advocacies and earn “hearts” for causes with every gigabyte used, transforming everyday connectivity into measurable social impact.
“Our prepaid customers, especially Gen Z and Gen Alpha, have shown us that they want to be part of something bigger. GoGIVE makes that possible by removing barriers to giving and making participation simple, visible, and rewarding. Every heart earned is a step toward building a future where digital access and social responsibility go hand in hand,” said Givielle Florida, Head of Globe Prepaid.
In just 12 months, this innovation has generated over 7.6 billion hearts, far surpassing expectations, and has fueled advocacies ranging from digital education and medical assistance to animal rescue, women’s livelihood, and more. It has also proven adaptable in challenging times, mobilizing relief efforts for communities impacted by earthquakes, typhoons, and volcanic eruptions, while extending support to sectors affected by rising fuel costs.
Partner Impact
As part of its continued support for cause partners, Globe also provided each organization with a connectivity kit consisting of five units of The Loop from Globe AT HOME with one year of connectivity. These devices help power both office- and field-based initiatives for the following partners:
- Ayala Foundation for their CENTEX Digital Education Program
- The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) for online adoptions, veterinary care, and emergency rescue of animals;
- Philippine Eagle Foundation for their indigenous-led and community-based conservation efforts;
- Project PEARLS for their G.R.O.W. (Giving Resources and Opportunities to Women) Program;
- PGH Medical Foundation, Inc. for their hospital frontliners and patients;
- Special Olympics Pilipinas for its training activities that advance inclusion and empower persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities through sports, health, and leadership;
- World Vision Philippines for their child protection programs.
Disaster Relief Through GoGIVE
Through GoGIVE, Globe partnered with Ayala Foundation to provide psychosocial support to children and parents affected by the earthquake in Cebu; worked with the Philippine Eagle Foundation to provide relief goods to families affected by the earthquake in Davao Oriental; helped rehabilitate Pawssion Project’s animal shelter in Bacolod after the devastation of Typhoon Tino; and supported relief efforts through Rise Against Hunger Philippines following Super Typhoon Uwan and the eruption of Mayon Volcano.
“GoGIVE is proof that when purpose is built into everyday behavior, young people are moved to action. This recognition at the PR Awards Asia-Pacific affirms our belief that connectivity can be a force for good, turning data into compassion, and compassion into real change for communities across the country, and this is what #AlagangGlobe and going forward together truly means,” said KD Dizon, Chief Marketing Officer of Globe.
Globe’s GoGIVE is more than a platform, it is a movement that empowers Filipinos to give back through the digital tools they already use. By embedding purpose into connectivity, Globe is uplifting lives, strengthening communities, and proving that technology can be a true enabler of social responsibility. As Globe continues to champion sustainability and digital inclusion, it remains steadfast in its mission to help Filipinos move forward together, toward a future where every connection builds a better nation.
