Cocolife recently held the Alagang Cocolife Health and Wellness Forum at the Balete-Kawayan Ballroom, Alphaland Makati, bringing together valued clients, members of the press, and Cocolife employees for an evening of insightful discussions on health, wellness and financial protection.
The event was far from the usual sit-down forum. With engaging talks, interactive games, and raffle prizes, attendees enjoyed a dynamic learning experience. Adding to the lively atmosphere was event host Mark Louie Canaveral, Marketing Communications Associate, who kept the crowd energized throughout the program.
FVP and Head of Marketing and Research, Ms. Ma. Rowena “Weng” Asnan, opened the forum with heartfelt remarks followed by the keynote address from Atty. Paolo Rabanal, Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Finance and Strategy Division.

The forum featured three wellness coaches namely Coach Christian Rey “Chance” Vega, Coach Dax Timbol, and Coach Shay Castillo who shared practical yet insightful advice:
Coach Chance, who is a registered nurse and personal trainer stressed the importance of early action in preventing lifestyle-related diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and chronic kidney disease. He emphasized the pillars of nutrition, exercise and social connection, reminding everyone that our bodies are designed to move.
Ironman Certified Coach & Life Transformational Coach Dax Timbol presented his 10 Countdown to Wellness. His key message was to adopt a Day One Mindset, start today, stay consistent and remember that muscle is the currency of long life.
Registered Nutritionist-Dietician Coach Shay Castillo focused on nutrition, highlighting how food choices directly impact energy, mood and overall health. She encouraged participants to treat food as fuel and build smart meals that support daily activity.
The forum also highlighted the continued growth of the Alagang Cocolife Run Club, which promotes wellness through community-based fitness activities. Two major upcoming runs were announced: the Fun Run on September 21, 2025, and the Mamaw Run on October 25, 2025. This Halloween costume fun run invites runners to come in costume for an evening of spooky fun while staying fit.
