he Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) warns healthcare providers and the public against online posts and advertisements offering assistance to secure PhilHealth accreditation.
These offers are NOT legitimate. PhilHealth has not authorized, accredited, endorsed, or engaged any firm, agency, organization, or individual to facilitate, process, or speed up accreditation on its behalf except for the three (3) formally recognized Third Party Accreditors (TPAs) specifically designated to validate and recommend facilities for the Center of Excellence (COE) award namely:
1. Philippine Tripartite Accreditation for Health Facilities, Inc. (PTAHF);
2. Philippine Council on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (PCAHO); and
3. TÜV Rheinland
As such, PhilHealth shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or adverse consequence arising from transactions made with unauthorized third parties and their representatives.
All accreditation applications, renewals, submission of documentary requirements, inquiries, and other related transactions shall be coursed directly through PhilHealth Regional Offices and their respective Local Health Insurance Offices nationwide.
