Manila, Philippines, 18 November 2024, ACT-CIS Representative Erwin Tulfo’s voter preference increased by 2.5% in the latest 2025 Senate Survey of Tangere. Cong. Erwin Tulfo, achieved high voter preference across all categories – areas, regions, and socio-economic classes. Cong. Erwin Tulfo received significantly lower voter preference among voters aged 18-25 years old and 51 years old and above, compared to voters aged 26 to 50 years old.
Significant gains for Media Executive Ben ‘Bitag’ Tulfo, Senator Bong Go, and Former Senator Tito Sotto
o Voters from Visayas, Mindanao, and Central and Northern Luzon were the primary drivers of the increase in the voter preference of Media Executive Ben ‘Bitag’ Tulfo. Similar to his brother, Ben ‘Bitag’ Tulfo received significantly lower voter preference among voters aged 51 years old and above.
o Senator Bong Go ranked 3rd-4th place with a 50.13% voter preference, driven by respondents from Mindanao and voters aged 36-50 years old.
o The increase in the voter preference of Former Senator Sotto were driven by voters from Northern and Central Luzon. The former senator received significantly lower voter preference among voters aged 18 to 25 years old.
Top 12 for November 2024
• Closely behind in 5th to 7th place are Former Senator Manny Pacquiao with a 41.50% voter preference driven by voters from Visayas; Former Senator Ping Lacson with a 41.00% voter preference driven by voters aged 36 years old and above; and Senator Pia Cayetano with a 40.46% voter preference driven by voters from Metro Manila.
• Makati Mayor Abby Binay ranked 8th with a 37.00% voter preference driven by voters from Metro Manila and voters aged 26-35 years old. Former DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos ranked 9th with a 33.96% voter preference driven by voters from Metro Manila and those who identified themselves belonging to the upper and middle income classes.
• Ten candidates are statistically tied at 10th to 19th place led by four incumbent senators:
o Senator Lito Lapid with a 31.92% voter preference;
o Senator Bong Revilla with a 31.17% voter preference;
o Senator Francis Tolentino with a 31.04% voter preference;
o Senator Bato Dela Rosa with a 30.83% voter preference;
o Former Senator Bam Aquino with a 30.50% voter preference;
o Senator Imee Marcos with a 30.42% voter preference driven by an increase in voter preference from Northern Luzon; Voter preference in Visayas and Mindanao are significantly lower;
o Former Senator Kiko Pangilinan with a 30.33% voter preference;
o Social Media Personality Doctor Willie Ong with a 30.25% voter preference and ranked 15th; and
o Comedian Willie Revillame with a 30.08% voter preference.
The survey, conducted last November 6-9, 2024, was administered via a mobile-based respondent application with a sample size of 2,400 participants (+/- 1.96% Margin of Error at a 95% Confidence Level) using a Stratified Random Sampling method (Quota Based Sampling). The proportion was spread throughout the Philippines with 12 percent from NCR, 23 percent from Northern Luzon, 22 percent from Southern Luzon, 20 percent from Visayas, and 23 percent from Mindanao.
