An impressive turnout of VIP customers, guests, and government officials attended the Monark Ma-a branch opening in Davao City last May 17, 2024.
Dubbed as the first ‘green’ branch of the company, Monark Ma-a has set a new standard for eco-friendly infrastructure with its innovative design anchored on sustainability.
The inaugural branch event teemed with activities that showcased Ma-a’s service capabilities. Facility tours were held and afforded customers to see the different parts of the facility.
Comprehensive Facility Tour for Customers and Guests
The tour starts from the Customer Lounge/Parts Counter area with a display of the Cat 226 and PCC booth. Customers and guests can check available digital services such as PCC registration and Vision Link. Afterward, the tour moves to the Hose Assembly area.
Customers and guests are led to the second floor to see the various offices, service view deck, the alfresco dining/ work area and catch a glimpse of the warehouse.
Customers gathered around the product exhibit participated by Monark’s affiliate companies – Higantis, Sitech, SEM, and Monark Foundation, Inc. and likewise featured the Product Support booth that showcased different promotional service offerings.
The tour progresses to the expansive service bay area, where visitors can witness a host of services in action. The service bay provides services such as transmission rebuild, engine overhaul, undercarriage rebuild service, among others.
The facility tour concludes with customers and guests gathering at the other side of the service bay which served as the launch venue. The service bay event venue was transformed into a lovely ‘green’ paradise.
Memorable Inaugural Event
During the launch program, messages from top company executives were shared. Monark Equipment Corp. President JR Banson thoughtfully conveyed to the audience that “We remain firmly committed to Davao. We remain firmly committed to be able to serve our customers to make sure that your equipment is up and running…We really look forward to being responsive as an organization and easy to do business with. We stand as one team committed to you.”
Mr. Eric Visaya, Vice President of Product Support and Mining Business Unit expounded on that customer satisfaction and providing quick service are top priorities. He added that “with a bigger Ma-a yard, we now have ten bays from the old one. Our new warehouse can accommodate 5,000 SKUs from 2,700 we had last year. All these are being done to meet your expectation.”
Supporting the product and service portfolio, Mr. Manny Martin, Vice President of Core Industries- Rental, Used and New (CI-RUN) Unit gave a quick overview of the different promo activities that customers can avail of such as the “24 months 0 interest”, “Unli Extended Warranty” for three years, and “Fuel Guarantee” program for select models.
Additionally, Mr. Roland Chu, General Manager of Monark Power Systems discussed the availability of renewable and sustainable products for Davao customers. He also noted that the company recently launched its integrated energy system in a customer’s project.
Branch Sales Manager Miss Faye Jayno expressed that “this new facility is one of the many ways to show you that we stand by that commitment now and the years to come.”
Mr. Pengtao Li, Southeast Asia Distributorship Director also gave a short message and presented a gift – a scale model to Mr. Banson and Ms. Jayno.
Earlier that day, a holy mass, an office blessing, and ceremonial ribbon-cutting activity were attended by company executives led by Mr. JR Banson and staff.
Capping the program was a rousing performance from Kadayawan Drumbeaters.
While guests dined, they were serenaded by acoustic duo “Bobby & Dimples. Adding to the excitement, several lucky customers walked away with premium Cat merchandise won in a special raffle.
