MPower, the retail electricity supplier (RES) of Manuel V. Pangilinan-led Manila Electric Company (Meralco), is set to support the growing energy requirements of Calamba Medical Center (CMC) through the provision of reliable and flexible electricity supply.
MPower will enable the enrollment of five (5) service accounts under the Retail Aggregation Program (RAP) and one account under the Competitive Retail Electricity Market (CREM), allowing the hospital buildings and facilities in Laguna to benefit from competitive power rates.
Part of the hospital group under Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, CMC is one of the leading healthcare institutions in South Luzon. It is recognized as Laguna’s premier medical center, serving as a major referral hospital for acute care and remains committed to delivering accessible, compassionate, and high-quality healthcare services to communities.
For CMC, joining the RAP supports the company’s efficiency and flexibility that ultimately results in improvement in operations and the services it offers.
