Cocolife recently celebrated its 48th Anniversary at the Grand Ballroom of Solaire Resort, with the theme “Yugto: Pagsibol – Strengthening our roots as we enter a new chapter of growth.” The celebration reflected the company’s continued journey toward growth as it nears five decades, while remaining grounded in its legacy of service and commitment to Filipino families.

The evening opened with a message from Chairman Bienvenido L. Reyes (Ret.), who reflected on Cocolife’s milestones over the past year and highlighted Cocolife’s resilience in navigating challenges. He expressed optimism for the years ahead, noting the company’s strong foundation and its capacity to achieve even greater milestones.
Keynote speaker Gretchen Ho graced the event and delivered an inspiring message. She commended Cocolife for remaining steadfast in its mission of helping Filipinos achieve financial security and shared her personal journey as well, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and service in creating meaningful impact in our respective communities.

This was followed by an inspiring message from President and CEO Atty. Martin Loon, who recognized the vital role of employees and management in driving Cocolife’s success. He reflected on his eight-year journey with the company, including overcoming the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and leading its recovery. He emphasized that despite ongoing uncertainties, resilience remains key, as Cocolife’s mission is rooted in a shared responsibility to serve others.
Pres Loon also shared a powerful message on leadership and purpose: “Tonight, as we celebrate our anniversary, let us define our accomplishments not merely by numbers and statistics, but by people, the lives we have touched and the service we have rendered. Let us look back at the years past not through the sequence of profits and figures, but through the human stories made possible by compassion and service here in Cocolife.”
“In times like these, our clients rely on us more than ever. Our employees will rely on this company more than ever. The challenge to us all remains: to continue to fight and to continue to serve. We fight. We love. Because we care. I want Cocolife to be known as a company that cares, a company that will always be there for its clients, and for all of you, no matter what the personal cost.”

A ceremonial toast led by the Board of Directors and the Management Committee followed, symbolizing unity and shared commitment as Cocolife continues its growth in the years to come.

The program also recognized outstanding individuals through various awards, including the Gawad Sanghaya, CHAMPs, and Game Changer Awards, as well as honoring long-serving employees who have dedicated 30, 35, and 40 years of service to the company, individuals whose contributions have helped shape Cocolife’s legacy.

Cocolife Wellness Ambassadors Julius Babao and Tintin Babao also graced the celebration, expressing their gratitude for the partnership and shared their support for Cocolife’s mission: “Congratulations on this remarkable milestone. It is a privilege to stand with Cocolife as you approach your 50th year, and we look forward to many more years of partnership in empowering Filipinos to protect what matters most.”

Throughout the evening, guests and employees were treated to engaging intermission performances, including a number by Cocolife’s very own Rusty Jake Manalo and a showcase by Filipino traditional music collective Anima Tierra, along with vibrant traditional dances and live band entertainment. The celebration ended on a high note with a performance by Filipino band Lola Amour, whose music brought energy and excitement to the anniversary celebration.

Cocolife’s 48th Anniversary stands as a meaningful reminder of its enduring mission: to continue to serve and make a difference in the lives of Filipinos.
